3-day Mini Camp

We are delighted to confirm the 3-day mini hockey camp for our junior hockey stars (1st Class to 4th Year). We will be adhering to strict guidelines by Hockey Ireland and the Government in relation to sanitisation; ratios, 2 metre distance off the pitch, not sharing or touching equipment. Contact hockey on the pitch has been approved. We will be taking your child’s temperature at arrival to camp. If your child or anyone in your household is unwell, we would ask that you consider the possible implications by coming to camp. Also, if you have someone vulnerable in your household, a camp may not be advisable. The camp is open to members and non members and you can sign up via the club app or here!

Men’s 1s Head Coach

Avoca Hockey Club are thrilled to announce the appointment of Trevor Dagg as our Men’s First Team Head Coach.  Following a very successful career on the pitch, Trevor moved to the side lines where he has built an impressive coaching record in both men’s and women’s hockey with time at YMCA and Loreto before his most recent spell at Corinthian HC where he led their team through EYHL promotion. His appointment follows Rudi Wortmann’s new role as Director of Hockey as well as announcing Noelle Farrell and Anna Richardson to lead our Ladies firsts – a very exciting season ahead on the pitch as we also celebrate our club’s 125th anniversary.
