Women in Sport

Women in Sport Performance Coach Programme.

Hockey Ireland has launched their Women in Sport Performance Coach Programme designed to encourage and develop more female coaches into performance level coaching.

The programme is funded by Sport Ireland’s Women in Sport Programme. For 2020, the programme will be open to female coaches who are already coaching at or have a desire to coach at performance level. Coaches will work with a team of experienced mentors across a 12-month period with a focus on developing key aspects of performance coaching both on and off the field.
